SCHOOL FEES 2026

The school fees for 2026, excluding the acceptance deposit, are made up as follows:

Grade 1 – 3 R32 340 per annum
Grade 4 – 6 R32 890 per annum
Grade 7 R33 440 per annum
Grade 8 – 9 R45 980 per annum
Grade 10 – 12 R47 025 per annum

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Applications for Grade 1 (2027):
    Open from 1 February 2026 – 31 March 2026.

  • Applications for Grades 2 – 11:
    Open from 11 February 2026 and may be submitted at any time during the year.

Please note: Our school is usually at full capacity at the start of the year.
Mid-year admissions can only be considered if a space becomes available.

To apply: please complete and submit the online application form for the year of entry. Incomplete applications cannot be processed.

Please Note: Riverwood College is a fee-paying school.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

To complete the online application, please have the following ready:

    • Proof of residence (e.g., utility bill or municipal letter)

    • Learner’s most recent school report

    • One recent ID photograph of the learner

    • Certified copy of the learner’s birth certificate

    • Copies of both biological parent(s)/guardian(s) ID documents

    • If a parent is deceased, a copy of the death certificate

    • If a parent’s details are not available, an affidavit explaining why

    • School fee statement from the learner’s previous school

    • Copy of medical aid card

    • Proof of income in the form of 3 months’ payslips or bank statements for both parents/guardians.

FEES & DEPOSITS

  • No application fee is payable.

  • Upon acceptance:

    • A non-refundable acceptance deposit is required.

    • For boarders: a tuition boarding deposit and admission fee per learner are also payable.

We encourage all families to apply to more than one high school, as there is a limit to the number of learners we can accommodate each year.

Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email notification confirming whether your child has been provisionally accepted.

Provisionally accepted learners and their parents will be invited to attend an interview at the school in the second term.
